make a phone call to the lord

so, apparently in kansas city there is no separation of church and state bc the city council installed phone booths to call god directly.  yes, that is right!  you can stop and call the lord.  this was paid for with city monies, taxes.  so, free and accessible birth control and food for the poor are bad, but installing a phone booth to call god, to say a prayer into a phone, is a good idea?  how does this happen?  i am cool with ppl praying, i am even cool w ppl praying in public, i am even respectful when i see ppl praying and will be quiet during their time, but if i were a resident of kansas city i would be pissed!  what a waste of money and time!!!
